As the airline industry braces for a busy travel season, it’s also looking toward future bookings. And, with that optimism for a return to travel, we get to benefit from some amazing travel deals.

One of them is the return of AirAsia’s Free Seats* promo which is available for booking on the AirAsia Super App from 9 to 17 April 2022 for both domestic and international flights.

Malaysian destinations include Penang, Alor Setar, Johor Bahru, Kota Kinabalu, Kuching, Sibu, and more, while overseas destinations include Singapore, Phuket, Medan, Jakarta, Bangkok, Ho Chi Minh City, Siem Reap among others. All-in fares for the Free Seats promotion start at RM23 one way for domestic travel and at RM69 one way for international travel.

This is definitely worth the steal as the only fees you’ll have to pay are the airport tax, MAVCOM fee, fuel surcharges, and any other applicable taxes that apply.

Plan your trip for the travel period from 12 September 2022 to 25 March 2023 by selecting the ‘Flights’ icon on the AirAsia Super App. The option to pay with AirAsia points is also available to Super App users during the checkout process.

Before booking a flight or showing up at the airport, travellers wishing to travel to or from Malaysia must meet the standards imposed by the Malaysian government and the governments of the countries from which they are departing and where they will be arriving, which can be found here.

Meanwhile, in view of the recent decline in coronavirus cases and the return of international flight services, AirAsia Malaysia announced on Wednesday the resumption of overseas flights from Malaysia to numerous important Indian cities, as well as a 20% discount to all Indian destinations and a complimentary 20kg check-in baggage allowance per booking via the AirAsia Super App until 1 May 2022.

Six Indian cities where the airline will resume flight operations include Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad, Kochi, Kolkata and Tiruchirappalli.
