Who doesn’t love lounge access? Anyone flying in or out of Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) Terminal 1 will now have something extra to look forward to! Even if they’re not flying Business or First Class.
Independent airport lounge company Plaza Premium Group has just unveiled two new lounges that are a must for anyone looking for a comfortable and relaxing airport experience. With passes available for sale to any traveller, stopping by at the new Plaza Premium First and the Plaza Premium Lounge will be worth it — especially during layovers! These two lounges are the latest from the group’s offerings for travellers at KLIA Terminal 1’s international departure hall.
The bells and whistles
The lounge is available to both business and pleasure travellers, and it will feature separate rooms and places for sleeping, eating, working remotely, socialising, and conducting business.
Singapore Airlines’ Business and First Class passengers can use KLIA’s The Plaza Premium First lounge for free, as the airline is currently the lounges’ only partner. By the end of the year, Plaza Premium Group President and founder Song Hoi-See aims to have 10 such partnerships with international airlines serving KLIA Terminal 1.
Dining options at Plaza Premium First and Plaza Premium Lounge are distinct from one another. While the Plaza Premium lounges offer a buffet, the Plaza Premium First offers a customised experience with an à la carte menu, featuring dishes like Nasi Lemak with Australian beef rendang.
What’s the damage?
The Plaza Premium First space is priced at RM202 for a two-hour visit (valid till 30 June 2023) while the Plaza Premium Lounge is priced at RM146 for a two-hour visit. The Plaza Premium Lounge is located on Mezzanine Floor, Level 2, Satellite Terminal at KLIA. Make your reservations here.
More Plaza Premium lounges will debut in Jakarta Soekarno-Hatta International airport later this year, joining Plaza Premium lounges in Adelaide, Bangalore, Cebu, Dubai, Florida, and Hong Kong. In total, Plaza Premium has lounges in over 70 locations in 30 international airports.
