There’s this myth that we need to go on all the holidays and take all the trips we want to while we are childless because that privilege gets snatched away as soon as you become a parent. We would like to debunk this myth for two reasons. One, it suggests that the joys of travel are reserved only for those who do not have kids, and two, it discourages you from making holiday memories with your little ones.

Now, we are not saying that travelling with children is easy or carefree, but if you are planning a short getaway with your kids, it is good to know a few places that accommodate that. Here’s a list of some of our favourite places to stay at that are more than welcoming to families with little children.

A recent addition to the island, PARKROYAL is a beautiful resort situated on Tengah Beach. It has 300 rooms, suites, and seven villas with direct access to the beach. Within the resort are several dining options, leisure facilities, and plenty of activities for kids.

If you are travelling with a young child or baby, the hotel provides a complimentary baby cot upon request. With plenty of shops, restaurants, and the aquarium closely situated to the hotel, moving about with a child is relatively easy. And if all else fails, a day basking on the sandy beach right outside the hotel while dipping in and out of the ocean will keep your little ones entertained for hours.
