Let’s move, get healthy, and make a positive impact on our planet, one stride at a time with Adidas’ new initiative that will make you break a sweat while saving our planet. From 1 to 12 June 2023, the Move for The Planet campaign will donate €1 (approximately RM4.95) to Common Goal for every 10 minutes of activity recorded across 34 sports in the Adidas Running app. Donations will go towards global initiatives that use sports to teach about and inspire people to care about sustainability.
Donations received by Common Goal through Move for The Planet will be allocated to international programmes in countries including Colombia, Greece, South Africa, and Pakistan. The selected programmes focus on climate change-affected areas, such as restoring a community’s sports surface using recycled materials or training sports facilities on plastic waste reduction.

Besides logging in those minutes on your app, the good people at Adidas have created a line-up of events and activations to help get you motivated throughout the campaign period.
Move For the Planet Walk
This walking activation that will kick off the campaign and will only be held at Sunway Pyramid. Customers that track a minimum of 20 minutes of walking through the mall between 1 and 12 June 2023, will be awarded with a Move for the Planet premium, vouchers, and more, depending on their total time tracked.
Move For the Planet Spin Session
adiClub members can get their spin on during two evening sessions showcasing the most in-demand spin classes from the city’s athletic community. Spin enthusiasts had better mark their calendars for 2 June! The event will be held at Journey Indoor Cycling facility.
Move For the Planet Golf Session
On 3 and 4 June, from noon onwards, adiClub members can take advantage of Move for The Planet’s exclusive indoor golf lessons. Each Move for The Planet Golf Session will be held at the MST Golf Arena at The Gardens Mall, and participants will be led in groups of four through an entertaining hour while learning about golf, which is becoming increasingly popular among young people.
Move For The Planet Run
Finally, a unique adidas Runners Kuala Lumpur (ARKL) run will be held to inspire the local running community to unite and celebrate sport for positive change. On 8 June, participants will start their race at the Adidas Brand Centre at Pavilion in Kuala Lumpur for an evening run across the city’s skyline.
Move For the Planet Gift With Purchase
To celebrate the launch of Move for The Planet, all customers who buy an item of clothing or footwear from the Parlay range will also receive a free Move For The Planet Own the Run t-shirt. This item will be sold at select adidas Performance stores in the Klang Valley from 1 to 12 June 2023.
adiClub Exclusive Passes to InMotion by W Hotel
Three local adiClub members who log the most time between 1 and 12 June 2023 in any of the 34 sports that qualify will also receive passes to InMotion to celebrate moving for the locations they play.
Meanwhile, W Hotel, Adidas’ brand partner, will host a fitness event for adiClub members and their guests on 23 and 24 June 2023. Including luxury accommodation, meals, and two days of workout and well-being.
