AirAsia is making waves again with its latest announcement – the launch of its ninth direct route to Thailand, featuring none other than the stunning coastal gem, Pattaya! Time to pack our bags because we’re in for a treat. Whatever your preference, Pattaya offers activities for thrill-seekers and beach lovers.

But Pattaya isn’t just about sun and sand – it’s also a foodie paradise. From mouthwatering street eats to upscale dining experiences, the culinary scene here will tantalise your tastebuds. Pattaya, the eighth-biggest city in Thailand, has long been a popular tourist attraction for both domestic and foreign visitors. Everyone can find something to discover in this seaside resort, from the beautiful coastline of Koh Larn to the lively Pattaya Floating Market.

Commencing on 17 June 2024, AirAsia Malaysia (flight code AK) will resume its long-awaited Kuala Lumpur to Pattaya, Thailand flight schedule, with three weekly flights. Following Bangkok (Don Mueang International Airport), Bangkok (Suvarnabhumi Airport), Krabi, Chiang Mai, Phuket, and Hat Yai, the airline’s ninth direct route to Thailand from Kuala Lumpur, Johor Bahru, and Penang is now operational.

It also coincides with the recent launch of AirAsia’s ‘Takeover Thailand’ campaign, which aims to promote the ‘Land of Smiles’ as the go-to travel destination for people from Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, and other countries.

In observance of the reopening of this route, tickets for flights to Pattaya (U-Tapao) are available for purchase from now until 24 March 2024, starting at just RM99* for a one-way ticket and from THB990* for a one-way ticket from Pattaya to Kuala Lumpur for travel between 17 June 2024 and 16 June 2025.

Bookings for the promotional fares can be made on airasia.com and the AirAsia MOVE app (previously known as the AirAsia Superapp). So, what are you waiting for? Pack your bags, grab your passport, and prepare to embark on the adventure of a lifetime.
