Although Sentul isn’t chock-full of hip cafes like Petaling Jaya is, there are dining havens like Tiffin At The Yard and Artisan’s Playground to check out. That said, sometimes instead of a gastronomic journey, we’d like to just visit a friendly neighbourhood cafe.
So, when you’re in Sentul and looking for somewhere to chill with a friend or perhaps work from a cafe, this list may be of help!
1. Curio Coffee Roaster & Cafe
Although small in size, Curio is a nice place to chill, with ample natural sunlight and a delightful selection of pastries, cakes, and pies. The cafe houses its own roasting room, where they roast their coffee beans, which are also available for purchase in-store. So, coffee enthusiasts, perhaps it’s time to grab a cuppa here.
Zafigo tip: Curio is only a few minutes walk from the MRT Sentul Barat station. It may be hard to spot them at first — the secret is to look for a spiral staircase! Take the spiral staircase up, and you’ll find yourself at their front door.
Address: Rivercity, Lot 468, G26-A, Block G, Rivercity Roof Top, Jalan Sultan Azlan Shah, 51200 Kuala Lumpur

2. Third Mile Rivercity
Located in the same building as Curio, Third Mile can be found on the ground floor with cosy seats both indoors and outdoors. Natural sunlight streaming through its windows makes this all-day dining restaurant feel inviting, whether you’re here for their all-day breakfasts, lunch, or dinner.
Zafigo tip: Third Mile only opens for dinner on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays, which is the perfect opportunity to enjoy a nice dinner out while treating yourself to their wine and cocktail menu.

3. Three Little Birds Coffee
If you work in the Sentul area, you’ll be happy to hear that Three Little Birds opens at 8am, making it easy to grab coffee or breakfast before heading to the office. This cafe is also home to Artisan Roastery, a speciality coffee roastery at the fringe of Kuala Lumpur city.
That said, the greenery around the outdoor patio of this cafe is a welcome sight — a respite from the hustle and bustle of city life. You’ll find standard cafe fare of sandwiches, bagels, pasta, and the lot when you dine here.
Zafigo tip: Be prepared to spend a little extra on parking, as it can get expensive. You’ll be parking inside the D7 Offices Sentul East building, where this cafe is located. Alternatively, it’s an 11-minute walk from LRT Sentul station.

There’s definitely something for everyone here, as their menu presents a wide variety of options, from croissant sandwiches to waffles, to rice and pasta dishes.

With surrounding greenery and space for the young ones to frolic about, it’s undoubtedly become a kid-friendly place to dine. Known for their barbecue meats (especially their smoked beef brisket), Craf Roasters is a great place for dining with the family.
Zafigo tips: Craf Roasters is a 15-minute walk from MRT Sentul Barat station and has great views of the park and lake from its large windows. The restaurant only opens till 6pm, so it’s more of a lunch or early dinner spot. Bring mosquito repellent for the kids if they plan on playing at the park!

Have lunch, dinner, and tea time at your convenience while you crunch away — they have croffles too! We’re by no means encouraging overworking yourselves, but we know it happens.
Zafigo tips: For those of you driving, here’s their parking guide. If you’re taking public transport, take the free GOKL bus (maroon line) from the LRT Sentul station and get off at the Sentul Village stop. The Sentul Point building, where Overtime Cafe is, will be in your sight.
