Feeling negative? Here to shower you with good vibes only, is Feeling+. Their simple interior may just give you that refreshing perspective you needed on a nagging situation. 3. Baker Next Door, Kuala Lumpur
Baker Next Door started as a home-based business by neighbours who share the same passion for baking. As it flourished, they set out to share their love for baked goods with their own café at The Waterfront, Desa Parkcity. The café is flushed with lots of natural sunlight, and a sculptural counter takes center stage. Choose from artisanal sourdough toasts and beautifully crafted pies, as well as a selection of caffeinated and refreshing drinks.

4. Curio Coffee Roaster, Kuala Lumpur
This snug little micro-roaster is a total vibe. Situated atop a spiral staircase, Curio’s interior is finished with simple and straightforward materials, giving the space a grounded feeling. With ample sunlight and a tiny outdoor balcony, it makes for a peaceful refuge in the city; a place to slow down.
For coffee enthusiasts, their beans are roasted in an in-house roasting room, with the process visible though glass panels. Curio also hosts brewing and roasting workshops for coffee enthusiasts, so do stay tuned!

5. SWÔL, Kuala Lumpur
If you’ve walked along Jalan Telawi 2, you probably would’ve noticed SWÔL’s striking white interior, especially at night. The café (soon to be bistro) features a unique blend of different shapes, materials, and wide windows, making an otherwise plain interior very photogenic.
The pastries and drinks served here make for Insta-worthy subjects when placed on their functional but sculptural stone-like seats. A hot-food menu will be released soon, so keep your eyes peeled!

Hidden in the PJ Palms Sports Centre is this homey and unassuming café, Jam & Kaya. The wood and pleasant tones of the interior complement the All-Day Breakfast menu—imagine pancakes, toast and coffee.
