It’s a great place to intentionally stumble into while strolling in the city. Their iconic pastry display counter will have you salivating, and if that’s not enough, they have a delectable hot food menu to boot.

3. Kita Coffee, Fahrenheit88
Located in Fahrenheit88, one of Bukit Bintang’s many shopping malls, Kita Coffee is the perfect spot to rest your tired legs mid-shopping spree. Although this cafe can be difficult to find for first-timers, it is quite a popular spot due to their barista, Rain Lee, who won the Malaysia Barista Champion in 2022. Do plan ahead if you’re planning to stop by here, as it gets crowded. Kita serves coffee, cakes, and hot meat-free food.

4. Feeka Coffee Roasters, Jalan Mesui
The name Feeka is derived from the Swedish word fika, which essentially means to take a break. And that’s exactly what you can do at this cafe just off the main Bukit Bintang stretch. They open as early as 8am for breakfast, making it easy for you to get your fika in before starting your busy day. Pair a cup of coffee with any of their all-day breakfast options or mains to complete your chill day out in the city.

5. VCR, Jalan Galloway
Ah, the iconic original VCR, in all its dark and industrial aesthetic glory. Parking may be hard to find here, so if you’re taking public transport instead, it’s about a 6-minute walk from Hang Tuah Monorail station. It also gets crowded during mealtimes, so do plan ahead!

6. Three Years Old Cafe, Jalan Sin Chew Kee
Right behind VCR is another row of old two-storey townhouses, and on one end stands Three Years Old Cafe. Its full-white exterior exudes elegance in its own way, while it sports a cute outdoor seating area that’s great for cooler weather.
The interior follows the same minimalist white theme, and on the ground floor is where you’ll find pastries on display. Have hot food, cakes, and pastries here before you continue exploring the rest of Bukit Bintang.

7. 8Haus, Jalan Sin Chew Kee
Looking for pork in the city? 8Haus might just have the perfect dish for you. Across the street from Three Years Old, 8Haus is a great dinner place, as they open till 10pm. Their signature pork roulade is not to be missed! Prepared either single or double-roasted, it’s served with one or two side dishes of your choice and their in-Haus sauces. Try the Nasi Lemak Pork Roulade as well, which seems to be a fan favourite!

8. Eden Coffee Rooftop Cafe, Lot 10
Hidden on the rooftop of Lot 10 shopping mall, this low-profile cafe serves affordable cakes and coffee. It’s easily accessible by jumping on the elevator outside Lot 10’s entrance (near the MRT Bukit Bintang exit) right up to level eight. There are reviews of the hot food being mediocre, so do lower your expectations a little and come by for the drinks, but be prepared for a stunning view of KL Tower and the city!
