Having late-night hunger pangs? Can’t decide what to eat or where to go? Let us help you fix those cravings! Of course, there are always mamak eateries for a quick supper, but we won’t state the obvious. We’re here to spare you the time and effort to look for the best midnight snack.

Now, before your tummy grumbles further, let’s get into it!

1. Mee Tarik Restoran

Jalan Sultan, open till 6am

Yes, you read that right! It opens till 6am. If you’re ever in Downtown Kuala Lumpur past midnight, Mee Tarik Restoran is the place to go. This Chinese-Muslim restaurant went viral on TikTok sometime last year, so do expect to queue for a seat here. If you’re a public transport user, MRT Pasar Seni is only a three-minute walk from the restaurant!

Their signature Beef Ramen is the main highlight for most who visit, but if you love spice, a tip is to add their fried chilli oil. Adding the chilli will really elevate the flavour of the soup noodles. Other items on the menu to try are the lamb skewers and fried dumplings.

If you find yourself too hungry to wait in line, fret not. There are other spots along Jalan Sultan that open late into the night too, like LOK LOK Fat Boy (open till 2am) and Sate Jamrut (open till 1am).
