The capital of Malaysia’s southern state, Johor Bahru (JB), is just a mere 40-minute drive from the Singaporean border. Once known as a popular spot for food, JB and the entire Johor state itself have become so much more than they used to be and sprouted various tourist attractions that have travellers flocking.

No more are people just passing by to get to Singapore, but they’re actually making it their holiday destination. With family-friendly attractions like Legoland to luxury resorts on Desaru Coast nearby, you won’t run out of places to visit and explore.

Be in awe of the architecture that pays homage to Alhambra in Spain. Other things to do here include visiting Legoland Malaysia, EnergX Park, hiking at Sireh Park, and many more.
