This exclusive dinner event will pair Maria’s finest creations with a specially curated selection of premium spirits, promising an exquisite evening that will leave your taste buds tingling and your spirits soaring.
It will take place on 20 October 2023 at 7pm and will be available only at Maria’s SteakCafe’s latest venue, the breathtaking SkyForest, on the top floor of 1POWERHOUSE, Bandar Utama.
The art of pairing
The evening starts with a delicious appetiser of U.S. scallops and the incredibly expensive Isle of Harris Gin—the flavourful tomato salsa pairs perfectly with the delicate scallops that have been expertly cooked. The gin’s distinctive botanicals, influenced by the Scottish island’s coastal environment, enable it to cut through the richness of the scallops and provide a refreshing and aromatic note for a perfect union.
Then comes Maria’s SteakCafe’s famous main courses, beginning with the well-known traditional Seafood Aglio Olio, excellently complemented with the steakhouse‘s favourite Sesame Sour cocktail.
The New Zealand Lamb Cutlet, a savoury treat that dances in unison with the rich and nuanced Redbreast Lustau Irish Whiskey, is served afterwards. The Australian Wagyu Ribeye MB7 is the next course, and it is paired with the fruity and sparkling characteristics of the Ardamurchan AD/10.22 Madeira Cask Scotch whisky.
That’s not all. For dessert, diners will be served Maria’s famous Prune Cake, prepared using a closely guarded family recipe. This delicious delight is expertly combined with Samai Kampot Pepper Rum to create a concoction that will certainly satiate your sweet tooth.
