Indulge in a buffet of festive fare at Sunway Putra Hotel
From 23rd to 25th December 2023, a series of all-you-can-eat buffets will be happening at Sunway Putra Hotel’s very own Coffee House on Level 9.
We got the opportunity to stuff our faces during a preview of the chef-prepared Christmas goodies, and here are some of the highlights from our night. We started off our feast by wetting our palate with Salmon Gravlax, which was refreshing and perfectly cured. Another appetising highlight was the hearty Irish Lamb Stew, with chunks of tender lamb and vegetables, making it the ideal starter for lamb-lovers.
The stars of the day were the Roasted Turkey and Roasted Rack of Lamb, which were roasted and seasoned to perfection. Paired with Cranberry Sauce and Mint Sauce, respectively, it was like a marriage of flavours on our tongues. Pair your favourite meat with sides like roasted tomatoes, asparagus, Brussels sprouts, carrots, mini potatoes, zucchini, or mashed potatoes for a balanced meal.
Other note-worthy contenders were the Duck Leg Confit and Scallop & Prawn Thermidor, while some local favourites that shone through were the Fish Head Curry and Chicken Satay paired with a fragrant peanut sauce.
An array of fruits and desserts were arranged in a colourful display of dessert heaven, including festive classics like Christmas Pudding with Custard Sauce and Yule Log Cake. The Christmas Pudding sealed the deal for us, with the custard sauce, dried fruits, and nuts blending in a harmonious symphony.

Experience snowfall and more at Genting Winter Wonderland
Resort World Genting (RWG) invites you to Santa’s Toy Factory, the 2023 edition of Genting Winter Wonderland. From 25th November 2023 till 1st January 2024, experience the magic of Christmas with festive decorations adorning Gohtong Way and Kim Hua Atrium.

During this festive season, the Marini’s Group offers guests dining experiences at Marini’s on 57 Restaurant and Marble 8 Steakhouse, presenting their signature dishes with a holiday twist for Christmas and New Year’s Eve. The restaurants feature distinct prix fixe menus, promising a gastronomic celebration in sky-high ambience.
At Marini’s on 57 Restaurant, the Christmas dinner menu showcases an array of dishes, including a Scrambled Eggs starter with Parmesan cheese foam and black truffles, followed by a unique Prawn & Crab Cannolo, and a decadent Ravioli with Ricotta and Black Truffle.
