More ways to fly to Australia
With the expansion of flight schedules and the collaboration between AirAsia and Malaysia Airlines, visiting Australia is now more accessible than before. Malaysia Airlines has been operating more flights from Kuala Lumpur to Sydney (from 14 to 16 weekly) and Melbourne (from 14 to 15 weekly) since December 2023.
AirAsia Malaysia began service to Perth on 11 March 2024, offering 14 weekly flights from Kuala Lumpur. This is an addition to AirAsia X’s regular service. AirAsia intends to provide direct flights from Kuching to Perth starting in June 2024.
Australia is keeping up its exciting engagement with Malaysian tourists. One such example is the latest Projek Bapak Bapak cooperation with ASTRO Warna, which highlights the many enjoyable experiences Victoria and New South Wales can provide for families with young children.
