Some of our favourite places to work from around Kuala Lumpur (L-R: @komune.cowork | @kultresting)

The bustling city of Kuala Lumpur (KL) is a local and international hub for businesses that are starting up or growing. To support this economic growth, and also as a means of networking with other users of a co-working space, more and more businesses are opting to do away with a traditional office setting. Instead, they choose to set up camp at co-working spaces, where patrons can choose to either hot-desk (we’re you’re not tied to a particular spot) or go for a more dedicated sitting arrangement. Usually, there are a lot of amenities available in these co-working spaces, such as high-speed internet, phones, furniture, and other little things.

The city is also dotted with chic cafés and pâtisseries that make for great working spaces when you want a change of scenery for your work day. You’re able to grab a cup of joe, a plate of your favourite cakes or pastries, and get to work while enjoying the buzz around you. For a list of the best co-working spaces and cafes to work from in KL, read on!
