Grand Hyatt Kuala Lumpur is once again ready to dazzle taste buds and delight diners with the return of its highly anticipated event: the second edition of #DinewithChef. This month-long dining celebration promises to be a culinary extravaganza set against the backdrop of the vibrant city centre.

DinewithChef is more than just a series of meals; it’s an opportunity to experience a culinary journey curated by the talented head chefs of Grand Hyatt Kuala Lumpur (Chef Grzegorz Odolak), Park Hyatt Kuala Lumpur (Executive Chef Stig Drageide and Executive Pastry Chef Holger Deh), and Hyatt Centric City Centre Kuala Lumpur (Executive Chef Vincenzo Carbone).

This group of chefs will work alongside culinary mavens from Indonesia, Poland, Japan, and Malaysia to create a brand-new, never-before-seen festival of culinary exploration. Each dish is a masterpiece crafted with passion, creativity, and the finest ingredients, promising to tantalise even the most discerning palate.

Highlighting the many areas within the hotel, the 2024 #DinewithChef series will feature the semi-alfresco POOLHOUSE, the recently opened event space on Level 5 of Grand Hyatt Kuala Lumpur, and popular restaurants THIRTY8 and JPteres.

May’s #DinewithChef will feature a frenzy of culinary collaborations between guest chefs and head chefs, resulting in events that take over the hotel across several significant dates beginning 9 May 2024.

Chef Greg will be collaborating with two renowned chefs from his native Poland, Marcin Budunek and Mariusz Olechno, for the inaugural official #DinewithChef event. The three chefs will work with the Polish Embassy in KL to provide a la carte meals that, using modern methods, encapsulate Poland’s culinary legacy and ‘The Spirit of Poland’.

A special culinary demonstration including chefs Greg, Stig, Holger, Enzo, and other Grand Hyatt Kuala Lumpur staff members as well as Chef Pande from Andaz Bali will be held at the hotel for RM198 per person on Mother’s Day. Along with creative mocktails and drink creations like ‘Dear Mummy’, which will cost RM48 per glass, sparkling wine will also be available.

Along with Original Thai Tea brand ChaTraMue and a variety of specially designed drinks to complement the buffet, Grand Hyatt Kuala Lumpur will join Chef Pande Cipta from Andaz Bali to present an Indonesian-inspired cuisine for a buffet lunch at RM128 per person.

A unique and private Sake Tasting Omakase Dinner, in partnership with Sushi Azabu, is a highlight of the #DinewithChef series, priced at RM628 per person.

THIRTY8 will have a menu of afternoon tea treats from 12pm to 5pm, priced at RM148 per person or RM268 per person with a glass of Champagne. Chef Stig and Chef Holger will take charge of THIRTY8, serving up sophisticated takes on classic savoury and sweet dishes.

Chef Enzo from Napoli will be leading guests in an exclusive preview of Hyatt Centric City Centre Kuala Lumpur. He will be presenting a range of delicious Italian meals, from antipasti, fresh pasta, main course, and dessert to carefully selected bar snacks.

At the Grant Burge Guiding Wine Tasting, which is being held in association with wine importer Milawa, enjoy a fine assortment of wines matched with delicious canapés for RM180 per person. This event is from 4pm to 6pm and is limited to 20 people.

The popular Weekday Malaysian Buffet Lunch at JPteres (RM128 per person) and Weekend A La Minute BBQ at POOLHOUSE (RM178 per person) will feature Chefs Ramu and Izmin of Grand Hyatt Kuala Lumpur displaying their trademark dishes from their respective kitchens.
