What it’s all about
If you haven’t heard about Dioriviera yet, we’ll fill you in. It’s Dior’s exclusive collection that celebrates the spirit of summer and vacation vibes. From stunning swimwear to chic accessories, Dioriviera’s garments and accoutrements have become a must-have for anyone looking to elevate their beach-style game.
And now, they’re bringing that same enchantment to the Ember Beach Club. The fashion world is colliding with the coastal scene as Dioriviera takes over the club located in One&Only Desaru Coast in Johor.
How long is it running for?
Essentially a pop-up, this event celebrates the Dioriviera capsule collection as the maison is turning the prestigious Ember Lounge into a riviera-themed destination complete with a pop-up shop and a Dior Café that’ll run until 6 August 2023.
What to expect
Maria Grazia Chiuri, creative director of Dior, has created a collection that reflects the maison’s Toile de Jouy motifs, reimagining them in pastel pinks, greys, creams, and blues, all of which are meant to recall the hues of porcelain. The Dioriviera Capsule Collection includes ready-to-wear, handbags, shoes, and accessories.
This version, called Toile de Jouy Sauvage, is used on famous bags like the Lady D-Lite and the Dior Book Tote, on the lining of the new Lady Dior Wicker, on scarves and Mitzahs, and on the Dior Silk Top, offering an outrageous summer look.
The transformed Ember Beach Club’s temporary designs are an extension of this endlessly bright wardrobe, benefitting from the same captivating sketches. Reminiscent of the happy times spent with friends that Christian Dior so enjoyed, the print is now imbued on chaise lounges, beach umbrellas, a surfboard, a set of boules, and table tennis rackets. Oh, and a yacht too!
