2. ReFest 2023 Festival

3R Media is pleased to announce ReFest 2023: Engage and Empower in honour of International Women’s Day 2023. The two-day women-led festival has been carefully planned to highlight the work of women’s organisations and initiatives that address social concerns and rally in favour of underrepresented communities.

As part of the Students Not Brides campaign, ReFest 2023: Engage & Empower will include speeches, workshops, moderated forums, performances, a highly fun market featuring women-led enterprises, and interactive installations. 3. MAS All-Women Operated Flight

In celebration of IWD and in keeping with the theme to #EmbraceEquity, Malaysia Airlines operated an all-female flight on MH2520 from Kuala Lumpur to Kuching, Sarawak to celebrate and highlight the variety of roles women play in contributing to the aviation industry.

From check-in to runway taxing and refuelling, and onboard the flight through its cabin staff and flight crew (Captain Noorsazrina Zulkifli and Second Officer Wong Wei Ming), the operations of the flight were managed by Malaysia Aviation Group’s all-female workforce.
