1. G2G Animal Farm, MAEPS, Serdang

This is a great place for animal lovers, kids, and anyone else who wants to get up and personal with animals. Take your family for a stroll through the G2G Animal Garden petting zoo where you can feed and pet the residents.

Animal stations include the Cat House, Bird Cage, Animal Therapy House, Rabbit Park, Reptile House, Pigeon House, Tortoise Park, and Village Pets. Weekday hours are 10am to 6pm, while opening hours on weekends and holidays are 9:30am to 6pm. Entry fees for children are RM20, RM25 for adults, and RM20 for senior citizens.

2. Riverine Survival, Amverton Cove Golf & Island Resort, Pulau Carey

The Riverine Survival Park is another must-see attraction! This garden, set amid a lovely grove of Beringin trees, will give welcome shade and allow you to take in the fresh air. You can sprint through their Garden Maze, investigate obstacles, and climb tree houses built around native trees, among other activities.

Also, don’t miss out on the new Flying Fox zip line! All of these attractions are appropriate for children and adults aged three and above. Riverine Survival Park’s picnic basket promotion also allows you to plan a peaceful family outing. For only RM30, you can get drinks and food for four people, as well as a three-hour rental of picnic baskets and mats.

Adults can unwind in the yard while their children run around and play in a secure atmosphere.

3. Clay Expression, Subang Jaya

Clay Expression is a pottery studio where you can hone your artistic skills and expand your range of expression. The instructors here teach students who want to make pottery a hobby, become a ceramic artist, start a new career, or simply to release their stress through the art of ceramics.

Making pottery entails more than simply shaping a ball of clay into a particular shape — it’s somewhat meditative too. Pottery has a calming effect on the mind and might help you focus your attention.

4. RollerWa, 1 Utama Shopping Centre, Petaling Jaya

A family-friendly indoor skating rink, RollerWa is an exciting space that let’s you have fun while you work up a sweat together as a family. A two-hour session costs RM38 for adults and RM28 for children under 18. This fee includes skates and safety equipment. There’s also the option for a day pass for RM68 for adults while children under 18 pay RM58.

To let you have fun safely, there are safety barriers on both sides, and arrows to help novices navigate the course. Instructors will also be on duty to provide assistance and coaching; it is recommended that you wear all of your safety equipment.

Also, RollerWa is a great Instagram location as they have two photo booths set up with neon lighting for group photographs!

5. FlowRider, 1 Utama, Petaling Jaya

Have you ever considered surfing in a mall? Well, you actually can! FlowRider is a hybrid board sport that incorporates tactics from skating, snowboarding, skateboarding, wakeboarding, and skiboarding. Whether you’re a beginner surfer or a seasoned one, you can enjoy endless waves with the guidance of a professional teacher. A perfect wave is created by a continuous flow of 32 km/hr water over a composite vinyl surface. The wave-like shape allows riders to do tricks, spin, and glide. Fun!

6. HL Dragon Fruit Eco Farm, Sepang

HL Dragon Fruit Eco Farm is a worthwhile stop for anyone interested in learning about the wonders of a dragon fruit farm. Learn about dragon fruit cultivation, witness the process of planting a dragon fruit tree, and even select a dragon fruit of your own.

It doesn’t sounds like much, but trust when we say that this outing will be both fun and educational. HL Dragon Fruit Eco Farm offers more than just a farm tour; it also has a restaurant that specialises in dragon fruit-based dishes and beverages. The food menu, which is focused on dragon fruit, is another highlight! So expect to find a variety of items and a food menu using dragon fruit as the major component.

7. Jump Street Asia, Petaling Jaya

This trampoline park that focuses on anti-gravity activities such as jumping, bouncing, rolling, and more. A vast court with about a hundred trampolines is connected so your little ones can run (or rather, jump) free. The trampolines are also equipped with a basketball hoop, a bubble hole to jump into, a giant airbag to safely land, and more.

The first in Southeast Asia, this famous aerobar can seat up to 15 people and has spectacular sunset views. Dubbed the crown jewel of Discovery Park, Cove Aerobar offers food-tainment — or food entertainment — for the entire family. The aerobar will take you up to 40 metres in the air, where you can dine while taking in the breathtaking sights. The ambience of this aerobar is incredibly romantic too, and it just costs RM35!

9. Wet World Water Park, Shah Alam

If you’re looking for a fun and affordable water park to head to then the Wet World Water Park in Shah Alam is the place to go!
