Stay at Barbie’s iconic Malibu DreamHouse
The legendary Malibu DreamHouse has returned to Airbnb after a pink makeover for the eagerly anticipated Barbie movie. Ken opens the Malibu DreamHouse for an overnight stay as Barbie makes her live-action cinematic debut in BARBIE.
On the 21 and 22 July 2023, fans can reserve Ken’s bedroom at the Malibu DreamHouse for a one-night stay for themselves and a guest; all stays are free. Barbie Land residents can rent Ken’s room in Barbie’s Malibu DreamHouse starting 18 July at 10am PT (18 July at 1am MYT). Travel arrangements to and from Malibu are the responsibility of the guests.
Stranger Things: The Encounter, Singapore
From 30 June to 1 October 2023, Stranger Things: The Encounter, Singapore will be open to fans for an interactive retail experience at Bugis+, Level 2 and 7, packed with 80’s nostalgia, unexpected surprises, and more thanks to The Mighty Jaxx Group and Netflix. The interactive retail experience will be open weekdays from 2pm to 10pm and weekends from 10am to 10pm.
XPass tickets start at SGD39 on weekdays, while a Priority Pass ticket, which includes an exclusive merchandise bundle, costs SGD109. The duration of the Encounter on Level 7 is around 45 minutes. Exclusive encounter tickets are limited. Although walk-ins are accepted, tickets can be purchased in advance on the official website for assured access and preferred time slots.
Studio Ghibli’s Animation Exhibition Bangkok 2023
The World of Studio Ghibli’s Animation Exhibition Bangkok 2023 will run from 1 July to 30 September 2023 at CentralWorld Live on the eighth floor of Bangkok’s top lifestyle shopping centre CentralWorld.
Taking up more than 1,890 square metres, it will feature 10 of the most memorable moments from Studio Ghibli films like My Neighbour Totoro, Howl’s Moving Castle, Spirited Away, KiKi’s Delivery Service, Princess Mononoke, Laputa: Castle in the Sky, Porco Rosso, Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind, and Ponyo on a Cliff by the Sea.
Prices for General Admission Tickets purchased in advance through ThaiTicketMajor are THB590 (1 to 30 June) and THB650 (1 July to 30 September). For an additional THB1,290, you can purchase a VIP Package that grants you early access to the exhibitions and photo spots for each round of the show. A programme book will also be included as part of the package.
