BonusLink Travel lets Malaysians earn and redeem BonusLink Points on hotel stays worldwide, turning travel spending into rewards for everyday savings.
Malaysians can now earn BonusLink Points from their hotel bookings through BonusLink Travel, a new accommodation booking platform available through the BLINK app and BonusLink website.
Earn BonusLink Points from hotel bookings
Members can earn up to 12 BonusLink Points for every RM1 spent on completed hotel bookings, depending on the applicable earning rate. At the maximum rate, a RM1,000 booking could earn 12,000 Points, equivalent to RM120 in rewards value.
The platform offers access to over one million accommodation options worldwide, including major hotel brands such as Marriott, Hyatt, and Sheraton, alongside boutique hotels and family-friendly resorts. Early booking trends have shown interest in destinations including Bangkok, Da Nang, Bali, Istanbul, New York, and Kuala Lumpur.
Use BonusLink Points to offset hotel costs
Members can also use their existing BonusLink Points to offset hotel costs, either partially or in full, giving travellers the flexibility to use their existing rewards towards their next stay.
Points earned from hotel bookings can then be used across the wider BonusLink ecosystem, including for vouchers, rewards, and everyday expenses such as petrol at Shell. This means a hotel booking can ultimately translate into savings even after travellers return home.
BonusLink Travel extends rewards beyond the hotel stay
The platform was introduced alongside the BonusLink Roadshow at Pavilion Bukit Jalil, which ran from 3 to 6 September and gave members an early look at the new travel offering. With BonusLink Travel now available digitally, members have another way to earn BonusLink Points from hotel bookings and use those rewards beyond their stay, including towards everyday expenses.
