We’ve rounded up these standout pizza places where the crust is golden, the toppings are generous, and every bite is worth the carbs. (Left: Image by @mypizzalab. Right: Image by @proofpizza_my.)
Let’s get down to brass tacks—life’s too short for bad pizza. Whether you’re team thin crust, ride-or-die for deep dish, or just here for the cheese pull, the Klang Valley’s pizza scene has something for every kind of carb-loving soul.
From wood-fired Neapolitan slices to bold fusion flavours (yes, someone really put oranges on a pizza and made it work), this list spotlights the best pizzas around town. So, loosen that waistband and prepare your tastebuds. This is your ultimate guide to pizza spots that slap.
1. Roberto’s, Bangsar Shopping Centre
Tucked inside the glossy halls of BSC, Roberto’s is where pizza gets the fine-dining treatment without losing its soul. Their sourdough base, fermented naturally for that perfect chew, is crisp around the edges, fluffy in the middle, and basically all your pizza dreams come true.
The Margherita is a masterclass in less-is-more (hello, buffalo mozzarella and fresh basil), while the Biancaneve turns things up a notch with white truffle paste that smells like luxury. Add in casually sleek interiors, a solid wine list, and great lighting for your flat lay? You’ve got yourself a 10/10 date spot with the fam, friends, or that special someone.
Best for: Casual but slightly bougie evenings out, date nights, and when you want your pizza with a side of class.
Address: Lot G109 & GK3, Ground Floor, Bangsar Shopping Centre, 285, Jalan Maarof, 59000 Kuala Lumpur
Phone: +6017 394 8050
2. Proof Pizza + Wine, APW Bangsar
If you know, you know—and if you don’t, now you do. Proof is one of those spots pizza snobs (me, I am a pizza snob) and casual eaters (also me) can agree on. Hidden in a quiet corner of Bangsar, this place lets their dough do the talking. Their 24-hour fermented sourdough base is light, springy, and baked in a wood-fired oven that gives it that glorious char and whisper of smoke.
The Umbrian Black Truffle pizza is chef’s kiss: rich, earthy, and packed with taleggio and mushrooms. Not into fungi? Go full beast mode with the Carne, a glorious medley of salami, mozzarella, pancetta, minced chicken, cherry tomatoes, red onions, grana padano, and their special tomato sauce. Add a bold glass of vino and you’re officially living your best pizza life.
Best for: Pizza purists, foodies, and anyone who dreams in truffle.
Address: 29, Jalan Riong, Bangsar, 59100 Kuala Lumpur
Phone: +603 2201 3613
3. Double Zero Pizza Parlour, Ampang
If you’ve ever wondered what happens when Nordic sensibilities meet Neapolitan tradition, Double Zero Pizza Parlour in Ampang has the answer. The pizzeria leans into a clean, Scandi-style aesthetic but keeps its focus firmly on the classics—done right, with no shortcuts.
The menu includes fun, cheeky takes like The No BS, B+S (beef bacon, beef sausages, bell peppers, and pickled jalapenos), their version of a pepperoni pie that’s all about balance: smoky, savoury, and perfectly crisped. Pair it with a glass of bubbly; their sparkling wine list comes with suggested pairings to help you match each slice with the right sip. It’s casual but thoughtful dining, making Double Zero a refreshing new addition to the Klang Valley’s pizza scene.
Best for: Sourdough lovers, neighbourhood pizza parlour drop-ins, and those looking for cosy, casual Scandi vibes.
Address: 64, Jln Memanda 9, Taman Dato Ahmad Razali, 68000 Ampang, Selangor
Phone: +6012 233 3864
4. Obvi Pizza, Ara Damansara
Obvi is cool without even trying: think minimalist space, low-key vibes, and next-level pies. Their pizzas sport the kind of crust that has puffed-up edges and soft, saucy centres, with ingredients that are fresh, fuss-free, and totally flavour-forward.
You’ve got your classics like the Margherita and Marinara, simple but packed with the familiar Italian flavours. There’s also Pepperoni and Jalapeno, for those who prefer their pepperoni favourite with a side of heat. My favourite? The Spinach Cream & L.Sausage, which stands for lamb sausage. No gimmicks, no drama, just really good pizza that speaks for itself.
Best for: Low-key catch-ups, artisanal pizza fans, and flavour-first diners.
Address: Ara Permata, 36-1, Jalan PJU 1a/42, Ara Damansara, 47301 Petaling Jaya, Selangor
Phone: +603 7832 2177
5. Natalina, Avenue K
Walking into Natalina feels like stepping into a warm Italian nonna hug. Inspired by the owner’s mum (hence the name), this cosy corner of Avenue K brings a slice of Rome to the heart of Kuala Lumpur. It’s rustic, charming, and full of comfort.
The pizzas here are baked the old-school way in a wood-fired oven, with a soft, chewy centre and beautifully scorched edges. Craving heat? Go for the Diavola. Feeling indulgent? The Di Mare will wrap you in delicious seafood bliss. If you’re into soulful food with a side of feels, Natalina hits the spot.
Best for: Soulful Italian food, and that “nonna made this” feeling.
Address: Avenue K, Lot 06 – Level 03, 156, Jln Ampang, 50450 Kuala Lumpur
Phone: +6012 673 3860
6. myPizzaLab, multiple locations
This is not your average pizza joint. And I suppose, that’s exactly the point. myPizzaLab is the fun younger cousin of myBurgerLab, and they’re not afraid to break all the rules (in the best way). Their 72-hour fermented dough gives you that lovely chewy bite, but it’s what’s on top that keeps people coming back.
Where else can you find smoked duck with torched mandarin oranges on a pizza? Or a meat-packed option that’s drizzled with mozzarella and blueberry vinaigrette? Their menu is bold, and we’re here for it.
Best for: Adventurous eaters, fun-loving foodies, and anyone tired of the same old pepperoni.
Address: Multiple locations
7. Emilio Cibo e Vino, TTDI
Craving Italian food through the lens of a Sicilian? Emilio’s got you. This cosy spot in Glo Damansara nails the balance between homestyle warmth and grown-up dining. The pizzas are flavour-packed and generously portioned, with a crust that’s fluffy inside, crisp outside, and begging for a dip in olive oil.
The Tartufo pizza is pure indulgence, while the Siciliana Signature Pizza brings light to how simple ingredients can truly shine when combined correctly. Another item NOT TO BE MISSED is their signature Caponata starter––eggplant has never been cooked so well.
Best for: Group dinners, date nights, and when you want pizza with a side of vino.
Address: LG-10 Lower Ground, Glo Damansara, 699, Jln Damansara, Taman Tun Dr Ismail, 60000 Kuala Lumpur
Phone: +603 7731 6337
8. Pizza Mansion, The Five
When Pizza Mansion came onto the local food scene, everyone was shooketh, especially those who favoured this beloved Italian creation. Pizza Mansion started small, with a hole-in-the-wall pizzeria located in the food hub of Happy Mansion, but boy, did it have a colossal presence.
While we love the original pizzeria, we’ve got to give it to their outlet at The Five. It’s like that cool kid who is super friendly, and you can’t help but like them. And like them, you do, especially when they serve delicious pizzas. The ambience here is trendy, and the food reflects the brand’s big dreams and dedication to its craft.
Silence of the Lambs, a pizza dish topped with Moroccan meatballs, is a must-order and will have your tongues wagging from all the flavours. Jamaica Me Crazy is as quirky as its name––jerk chicken, pickled olives, and cherry tomatoes.
Don’t fancy too much carb or not in the mood for pizza? Fret not, as they have other options like plates of pasta and the most delicious garlic bread. What is a meal without dessert? They’ve got that too.
Best for: Catch-ups with friends, and group meals in a low-light, semi-casual, cafe environment.
Address: E-GF-2, No. 49, The Five, Kompleks Pejabat Damansara, Jalan Dungun, Bukit Damansara, 50490 Kuala Lumpur
Phone: +6016 263 3929
9. Pizza Duo, Bamboo Hills
Serving contemporary Neapolitan pizzas, this place has become a cult favourite amongst true pizza lovers (and vegetarians alike). It was founded by a Malaysian couple, Aina Ghani and Mark Lee, who have taken their love for Italian slices of goodness to the ultimate level and shared that love with other KL-ites.
While we’ve yet to have the chance to sample all that’s on their menu, the few we have tried knocked our socks off; their Shroomami Pizza is a vegetarian’s dream come true. Their Salted Egg Yolk Soft Shell Crab did not come to play either.
Best for: Casual occasions where a multi-sensory pizza experience takes centre stage.
Address: Lot P10, Bamboo Hills, Taman Bukit Bambu, 51200 Kuala Lumpur
Phone: +6012 599 2980
10. Luciano’s, Wisma Central
Hidden away in Wisma Central, Luciano’s is a Muslim-family-owned pizzeria serving up pork-free pizzas from Tuesdays to Sundays. The pizzeria cum cafe doesn’t only specialise in pizzas but also Italian bread, and their coffee is pretty special too.
If you’ve come here specifically for pizza, we suggest opting for classics like their Pepperoni Gourmet Slice and Quattro Formaggi. For pasta, the Penne Gorgonzola and Ravioli Ricotta come highly recommended.
Best for: Super casual quick meals filled with fresh Italian handmade goodness.
Address: Lot 1.145A & 1.72B, Ground Floor, Wisma Central, Jalan Ampang, 50450 Kuala Lumpur
Phone: +6010 244 0771
11. Bottega, Petaling Jaya
Cafe, grocer, and pizzeria all rolled into one, Bottega is one of the ultimate spots for Italian fare, especially if you’re craving pizza. Bottega is making its mark across the country with outlets in Bukit Ceylon (KL), Taman Megah (PJ), as well as in Johor Bahru and Penang. Every outlet’s vibe is energetic and immaculate, and the service is casual but top-notch, so dining here feels like an easy Sunday morning.
The food? It is even better and consistent throughout all outlets. We love, love, love the Fume Speck Scamorza (mozzarella, speck, smoked scamorza cheese, and tomato sauce)—it’s a must-order. For umami goodness, the Marinao Romano will do just the trick. Pair your meal with a bottle from their wine selection; we promise you won’t be disappointed.
Best for: Hangouts with your furry friends, and satisfying meals that warm the heart.
Address: 15, Jln SS 24/8, Taman Megah, 47301 Petaling Jaya, Selangor
Phone: +6011 1666 3711
12. Flour, Fire & Stone, Petaling Jaya
For woodfire perfection, Flour, Fire & Stone will certainly entice, and as one would expect, there is a smorgasbord of options when it comes to their organic sourdough pizza. Flamed to perfection, the pizzas are topped using quality ingredients, which takes diners’ experience to the next level with each bite.
While all their pizzas are much to rave about, we cannot get over how cute their Breakfast Pizza is. Available only from 9am to 12pm, this doughy goodness is topped with tomato sauce and a free-range sunny-side-up egg, and if you’re feeling fancy, you can splash some meat on top at an additional cost.
Besides that, their Wood-Fire Chicken Tandoori is a standout with its explosion of flavours, and you can’t go wrong with classics like Beef Pepperoni and Margherita.
Best for: Sunday brunches, and hangouts that go best with a side of al-fresco.
Address: 17, Jalan Professor Khoo Kay Kim, Pjs 13, 46100 Petaling Jaya, Selangor
