Despite Malaysia’s tourism scene taking a huge hit due to the pandemic, a little resort on Langkawi island seems to be doing pretty swell. Kunang Kunang Heritage Villas recently scored a 9.8/10 rating on Hotels.com, dubbing them a ‘Loved By Guests Most Wanted Resort’. We’re not surprised, really, as the quaint yet stunning property features kampung houses as old as 200 years! 

Adding to its rustic charm is the appeal of a serene escape. Despite being located along the famous Pantai Cenang stretch, it’s a quiet respite that allows its visitors the option to experience the excitement of a busy beach.
