Since I was a little one, I was never the kid to stay still; even if I tried, I simply couldn’t. I always found myself craving some sort of adventure, and while my mates got down and dirty with Play-Doh, I was busy climbing trees. While a few of my friends dressed up their Barbies, I was outside assembling and racing my Tamiya vehicles.
So, it was only a natural progression for me to carry that sense of adventure into my adulthood. I just couldn’t steer away from spending time outdoors, and of late, I’ve found myself loving taking on the jungle with an all-terrain vehicle, also known as an ATV or quad bike. Something about making twisted turns and revving to go up a hill that makes this particular outdoor activity super fun and challenging.

1. ATV Adventure Park, Selangor
A heavyweight in the local quad-biking scene, ATV Adventure Park has been around for almost two decades and is easily one of the top ATV operators in Kuala Lumpur (KL). Located past the Zoo Negara in Kemensah, they offer five different packages to suit your budget and thrill palate.
Starting from RM100 per pax, you can enjoy from a one-hour to almost four-hour ride through the jungles and be rewarded with a waterfall or a stunning view of KL’s skyline. There is no doubt that Kundasang or Sabah, in general, has views to die for, and why not take advantage of that by jumping on an ATV? Semenyih Eco Adventure has built quite a name for itself as the go-to place for team building; and those who love an adrenaline rush will be familiar with this place as they offer quad biking, flying fox, jungle and river trekking, and also, off-road biking, though this one is not for the faint-hearted.

5. ATV Park Johor Bahru, Johor
