Dear Zafigo readers & ZafigoX alumni,
Unbelievably, we’re in the eighth week of the Movement Control Order here in Malaysia, a period when we’ve had to adjust our lives in big and small ways. This state of restrictions and uncertainty has also forced us at Zafigo to look at all our plans for the year and make a few decisions. The most difficult has been the cancellation of ZafigoX2020, an annual event where we get to meet many of you and share experiences, discoveries and inspiration together. We hope to return in 2021 when things are calm again.
But take heart. Zafigo.com continues as it always has, though with a greater focus for the moment on what you can do at home and what travels you can dream about for now. We’ve also started Hello Zafigo, online panels or workshops with some terrific speakers, which you can participate in. And we’ve launched ZafigoZine, a thematic magazine that summarises some of our articles for you to download and read at your leisure.
Rest assured, when the world opens up again, we will find ways to reconnect with you in real life through big and small events. Meanwhile, keep following us, join us at Hello Zafigo and we’ll meet again soon!
