October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and in the spirit of promoting breast health, ZafigoX 2024: Rejuvenation is thrilled to partner with the Breast Cancer Welfare Association Malaysia (BCWA), where they’ll be offering essential breast health services as part of this year’s program.
At ZafigoX 2024, BCWA will provide free Clinical Breast Examinations (CBE) for women aged 20 and above. Conducted by registered nurses, these screenings are a vital tool in early breast cancer detection. With breast cancer being the most common cancer among Malaysian women, early detection is key to improving survival rates, and regular check-ups can make all the difference.
Clinical Breast Examinations will be available exclusively to conference attendees on October 13th (Conference Day) from 9am to 5pm at The Space, Menara Ken, TTDI, Kuala Lumpur. BCWA will also conduct hands-on educational sessions on breast self-examination (BSE). These sessions are open to people of all genders, emphasising that breast health is not limited to women alone.
Alongside the health services, BCWA’s Public Relations and Partnerships Manager, Sumitra Selvaraj will be featured on the panel ‘From Passion to Purpose: Turning Social Causes Into Sustainable Entities’ also happening on October 13th.
