But, the real showstopper is the glass-bottom flooring. As you step in, you’ll feel like you’re walking on air, with the cityscape unfolding beneath your feet. As the sun sets, the cabin transforms into a futuristic wonderland, with a mesmerising ring of lights encircling the windows, casting a magical glow that’s sure to leave you in awe.
Carefully crafted with great attention to detail, the clever design of the SkyOrb Cabins enhances passenger air ventilation with double window louvres at the front and triple window louvres at the back. Seven selected SkyOrb Cabins will be added to the current fleet to provide a unique experience, enhancing the Sentosa skyline’s excitement.
Tickets for the Singapore Cable Car Mount Faber and Sentosa Station will go on sale at the ticket counters on March 20, 2024, the same day the SkyOrb Cabins open for visitors to experience. Those with tickets for the Mount Faber Line and Cable Car Sky Pass can upgrade their one-way round-trip ticket (between the Mount Faber and Sentosa Cable Car Stations) to a SkyOrb Cabin experience. Weekday rates for this upgrade are SGD15 (est. RM52) per person, while weekend and public holiday rates are SGD20 (est. RM70). Further information can be found on their website.
