In an educational fusion of eco-conscious beauty and environmental advocacy, Lush Malaysia has unveiled its inaugural showcase, Lush Malaysia Showcase 2024 at Sunway Pyramid. The event will run from June 1st to June 10th, 2024. As the leading brand in ethical beauty, Lush’s latest initiative aims to inspire Malaysians and travellers alike to embrace sustainable practices while indulging in luxurious self-care.

Participants learn about Lush’s commitment to creating a more beautiful world for future generations through its ethical sourcing practices, cruelty-free products, and eco-friendly packaging. Highlighting the negative consequences of plastic pollution and coral bleaching on ocean health and emphasising the urgency of conservation efforts, Lush provides an excellent example of sustainable beauty and community impact while showcasing the latest trends and discoveries.

Lush Malaysia also announced a strategic partnership with Coralku, an organisation dedicated to research-based coral protection and restoration. This partnership aligns with Lush’s objective to raise awareness of the state of our corals in Malaysia by supporting the ongoing restoration efforts of the coral reefs surrounding Pulau Lang Tengah.

Together with Coralku, Lush has planted 450 fragments on the site since 2022. Lush wants to add more coral fragments to the Lush Reef Garden to continue their ongoing efforts in order to restore the coral reefs.

Another exciting announcement from Lush Malaysia is the much-awaited release of The Lush MY App. Through interactive features and personalised purchasing experiences, the Lush MY App aims to elevate users’ beauty experiences completely. Customers can easily browse exclusive offers, buy their favourite products, and receive exclusive incentives using the app.

The following are a few of the public activities guests can look forward to during the Lush Malaysia Showcase 2024:

Bath Bomb Workshop: The public can either sign up in advance or walk in. Here, under the guidance of experienced Lush employees, customers learn how to make their bath bombs using natural materials.

Plastic wave structure: This visually striking installation raises awareness of the problem of plastic pollution and includes educational panels to teach visitors about the effects of plastic waste on the environment and how to lessen their plastic footprint.

Coralku Conservation Booth: The public will learn how to support coral conservation initiatives through coral adoption or future Lush-organised Coral Planting Events. Coralku will also debut its VR diving kit, which lets users experience diving without really going underwater, thanks to interactive controls and vivid visuals.

Musical Jelly Station: Consumers can engage with structures that resemble colourful jelly. The jellies stimulate their senses and encourage creativity by producing a variety of musical tones.

Lush Bring It Back Recycling Programme: Lush invites guests to recycle their empty pots by bringing them back. For each pot they return, Lush will give them RM3 vouchers which they may use in-store.
