The magic of Disney is set to sail on new seas in 2025, with the Disney Adventure cruise ship departing from Singapore. Among its many enchanting attractions, one that promises to captivate the imagination of both young and old is the Disney Imagination Garden.
The Disney Imagination Garden is an immersive and enchanting oasis celebrating 100 years of Disney’s heroic and heartwarming tales. This open-air garden will transport guests into the magical worlds of their favourite Disney stories, with colourful landscapes that echo the beloved adventures and characters we’ve spent growing up with.
An adventure of beloved stories
At its centre, a breathtaking three-deck-tall storybook castle art piece—the first of its kind on a Disney Cruise Line ship—will serve as a stunning backdrop, making the garden a magnificent masterpiece. The space will also feature a state-of-the-art theatrical stage that brings Disney’s beloved stories to life, two quick-service eateries, a bar, and a selection of garden-view staterooms that offer a peaceful retreat amidst the magic.
Beyond the Imagination Garden, guests aboard the Disney Adventure will have the chance to explore six other uniquely themed areas, each brimming with incredible characters and experiences that will be etched in their memories forever. From the funky streets of San Fransokyo to the underwater wonders of Disney Discovery Reef, the ship promises a journey filled with adventure and discovery.
Storytelling in bloom
Drawing inspiration from classic pop-up storybooks, the Disney Imagination Garden will be adorned with landscapes styled like paper cut-outs. Scattered throughout this idyllic setting, you’ll spot familiar faces from Disney, Pixar, and Marvel stories, bringing the magic of these beloved tales to life in a way that only Disney can. The garden’s design encourages exploration and connection, with a grand promenade stretching between the Garden Stage and the larger-than-life castle artwork.
At the top of this grand staircase lies a charming garden courtyard and bar, where guests can relax under the shade of trees designed to resemble storybook cut-outs, complete with images of well-loved animal pals. A Sorcerer’s Apprentice Mickey Mouse topiary will stand proudly in the centre.
A Disney kind of dining
Guests will also have the chance to savour the flavours of Disney Imagination Garden at two unique quick-service eateries, each inspired by beloved Disney films.
- Mowgli’s Eatery: Inspired by The Jungle Book, this casual dining spot will serve up Indian cuisine, including vegetarian and regional dishes with a unique Disney twist. The restaurant’s design draws from both early concept art from the film and authentic regional influences, making it a feast for the senses.
- Gramma Tala’s Kitchen: Paying homage to Moana’s scenic island flair, this quick-service restaurant will transport guests to the Pacific Islands. With décor inspired by the film’s stunning visuals and a menu showcasing diverse flavours from across the Pacific and Asia, it’s a dining experience that’s as imaginative as it is delicious.
A stage set for Disney magic
The Garden Stage will be the entertainment hub within the Disney Imagination Garden, offering an impressive lineup of high-energy shows, character appearances, and magical surprises throughout the day. This state-of-the-art performance venue will feature three-deck-high LED screens, special effects, and theatrical tools that bring Disney stories to life like never before.
One of the standout experiences on the Garden Stage will be Avengers Assemble, an action-packed stage show that marks the debut of Deadpool on Disney Cruise Line. This spectacular show will feature jaw-dropping stunts and incredible special effects as Marvel Super Heroes and Villains engage in an epic battle at sea. With appearances by Spider-Man, Iron Man, Captain America, Black Widow, and more, it’s a must-see event for fans of all ages.
