The third edition of Malaysia’s Michelin Guide 2025 was unveiled in November last year, and an impressive 80 restaurants throughout Kuala Lumpur and Penang were featured on the prestigious list. 3. DC Restaurant by Darren Chin, KL
DC Restaurant by Darren Chin, which has retained its one-star status since the 2023 Michelin Guide, never fails to impress year after year. The French dining space takes up a 70s three-storey shop lot in the Taman Tun neighbourhood, offering diverse dining experiences including a chic bar, a main dining area, and a few private rooms. 5. Molina, KL
Molina, recently crowned with a star, offers something different with its bold European flavours that combine French techniques with Asian and Nordic influences. Sitting atop the 51st floor of THE FACE Style Hotel, you’ll find an intimate, sophisticated setting that boasts stunning views of the Petronas Twin Towers. Highlights from the menu include the Brussels Sprout, featuring an innovative combination of sea urchin, caviar, coffee, and sunchoke; and Sepia, a complex medley of verbena, red hornweed, and goat’s cheese.
