In an exciting move for travel enthusiasts, Cambodia has announced visa-free entry for travellers from Malaysia and ten other countries, making it easier than ever for these nationalities to explore one of Southeast Asia’s most intriguing and culturally rich destinations.
Cambodia’s visa-free access: What to know
As of now, citizens from Malaysia, along with travellers from nine other ASEAN and nearby countries, can enter Cambodia without a visa. This policy shift aims to strengthen tourism, foster business relations, and encourage cultural exchange.

As Cambodia’s tourism steadily rebounds post-pandemic, welcoming 4.3 million visitors in the first eight months of 2024 alone, the country is boosting regional connectivity with a new visa-free entry scheme for select countries, inviting even more travellers to experience its cultural treasures and natural beauty.
