Petrina Thong, Solo Traveller
Kudsia Kahar is a name that is synonymous with the success and growth of commercial radio industry in Malaysia. With over 25 years of experience as a broadcaster under her belt, Kudsia remains the only person who has managed over 20 radio stations in her career, including Malaysia’s sole women-targeted English station, Capital FM. Traveling solo since the age of 19, she is also a strong advocate for companies to do more where equal pay and sexual harassment policies are concerned. A firm believer in women-empowerment, Kudsia remains the only female president ever elected for Commercial Radio Malaysia – the country’s sole association for private radio stations.
