Marina Bay Sands’ Music Festival
15 July to 2 August
To celebrate culture, music, and live entertainment, Marina Bay Sands is hosting its first Music Festival, ‘Where Music Takes Over’. Over the course of roughly three weeks, from the 15 July until 2 August, the festival will bring in a stellar lineup of performances and fringe activities at numerous locations across the integrated resort.
Over 10 concerts and musical performances will take place at Marina Bay Sands throughout the festival, with performances by international superstars such as Taiwanese Mandopop artist David Tao, English pop sensation Ellie Goulding, and Colombian singer, songwriter, and music producer J Balvin.
These internationally renowned musicians will join the likes of The 1975, The Strokes, RINI, Sabrina Carpenter, and A$AP Ferg on the bill at Marina Bay Sands for the Music Festival. Tickets can be purchased online.
Singapore Festival of Football
26 July to 2 August
Footie fan? Be sure to check out the Singapore Festival of Football Driven by CDG Zig at the country’s National Stadium. The event will take place just before the start of the new European football season, and will feature top clubs battling it out including Liverpool FC, FC Bayern Munich, AS Roma, Tottenham Hotspur, and Leicester City FC.
A highly anticipated match between AS Roma and Tottenham Hotspur, two of the biggest names in the Premier League, has been confirmed by TEG Sport and Left Field Live. The pre-game practise session for Spurs will also be open to fans.
Other than the pre-match training session on 25 July at the National Stadium, players and staff will engage with fans, support good causes, deliver grassroots football programming, and celebrate local culture.
The National Stadium will host a Spurs open practise beginning at 6pm on 25 July and the match versus AS Roma will begin at 7:30pm on 26 July. Tickets are required for both the open training session (Spurs) and the game which can be purchased online.
The Brewnanza Fest 2023
3 to 6 August
Brewnanza Fest by Brewlander is Singapore’s largest craft beer festival, and will showcase the brews of over 20 of the world’s most inventive craft breweries from North America, Asia, Europe, and the UK.
Attendees of the festival, which will take place at the Bayfront Event Space from 3 to 6 August 2023, may look forward to sampling from a carefully chosen variety of over 100 different beers, including brews from international breweries that are otherwise unavailable in Singapore.
Breweries like Singapore’s Alive Brewing Co, Australia’s Rocky Ridge Brewing Co (the first Certified Sustainable Brewery in Australia), Hong Kong’s hEROES (famous for its character-inspired beers), Scotland’s Vault City Brewing (the ‘mad scientists of craft beer’), the UK’s Track Brewing Co. (whose unique and bold brews continue to make waves in the UK), and many more await your exploration and experimentation.
Of course, you need beer snacks too! The Kongsee, a Mod-Sin izakaya concept by Chef-Partner Willin Low, Shake Shack’s world-famous burgers, and Jaguarita’s Mexican-inspired comfort cuisine will be served. The event will also include workshops and unique experiences, in addition to live music performances by critically acclaimed local bands and music collectives including Forest.
Tickets for the Brewnanza Fest 2023 are currently on sale online, with day passes and full access passes costing between SGD35 (roughly RM120.75) and SGD99 (roughly RM341.60). Passes come with redeemable beers, so you know it’ll be worth a visit!
