Malaysian travellers, your travel bucket list just got a boost. Scoot, the low-cost arm of Singapore Airlines, is launching new flights to Da Nang and Nha Trang in Vietnam, and Kota Bharu in Malaysia, starting October 2025. With one-way fares from just RM109, these routes open up exciting options for beach holidays and cultural getaways—all with easy connections via Singapore.
Da Nang: Coastal charm meets cultural riches
Starting 20 October 2025, Scoot will fly three times weekly to Da Nang, with daily flights expected by December. Known for its clean, sprawling beaches and architectural wonders, Da Nang is a modern city with easy access to some of Vietnam’s most treasured UNESCO sites.

Marble Mountains: A cluster of marble and limestone hills with caves, pagodas, and sweeping views of the city.
Golden Bridge (Cầu Vàng): The Insta-famous hand bridge set against the backdrop of Ba Na Hills.
Hoi An & Hue: Just a short drive away, explore the lantern-lit streets of Hoi An or the imperial past of Hue.
Nha Trang: Island-hopping, night markets & a tropical buzz
From 21 November 2025, Scoot will begin flights to Nha Trang twice weekly, increasing to five times weekly by January 2026. Ideal for those who prefer a more vibrant beach city vibe, Nha Trang is great for snorkelling, spa retreats, and unforgettable seafood feasts.

Hon Mun Island & Coral Diving: Explore colourful reefs in one of Vietnam’s first marine protected areas.

From 26 October 2025, Scoot will fly twice weekly to Kota Bharu using the Embraer E190-E2 aircraft.

Siti Khadijah Market: Shop like a local in this vibrant market run predominantly by women, perfect for snacks, batik, and traditional kuih.

More destinations & frequency upgrades
Besides the three new destinations, Scoot also has plans to launch flights to Medan and Labuan Bajo in Indonesia, and Okinawa in Japan during the Northern Winter 2025 season (subject to regulatory approval). And for those planning further getaways, Scoot is also increasing flight frequencies across Southeast Asia and Australia.
