As October ushers in Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the world lights up in pink to show solidarity with millions of women and families affected by breast cancer. In line with this global initiative, Shangri-La Kuala Lumpur is taking meaningful steps to raise awareness and support the fight against this disease by partnering with the Breast Cancer Welfare Association Malaysia (BCWA).
Together, they’ve organised engaging activities, including special dining experiences and a charity walk, to raise awareness and support breast cancer research.
Pink Elegance Afternoon Tea at Lobby Lounge
In collaboration with the renowned London Tea Exchange, Shangri-La Kuala Lumpur presents the Pink Elegance Afternoon Tea, a luxurious culinary experience designed by Executive Chef Scott Brand. This exclusive afternoon tea showcases a delightful fusion of premium teas and exquisite flavours, perfectly capturing the essence of elegance and indulgence.
Savour tea-infused treats like Rose Ivoire Chocolate Mousse with Sencha Sakura and Wild Berries Macaron with Sea of Blossom, each delicacy thoughtfully paired to complement the unique notes of London Tea Exchange’s finest brews. To add a sparkling twist, enjoy a refreshing Aperol Spritz, making your afternoon tea even more memorable.

Pink goodies at Lemon Garden 2GO
Enjoy Pink October treats from Lemon Garden 2GO this October and support a great cause. Indulge in buttery Pink Theme Shortbread Cookies (200g), strawberry and vanilla Pink Awareness Macarons (6 pieces), or the creamy Baked Rose and Pittaya Cheesecake (1kg).

Pink Charity Walk & complimentary breast examination
On Sunday, 27 October 2024, Shangri-La Kuala Lumpur will host the 5-km Pink Charity Walk, an event dedicated to raising awareness for breast cancer. Starting at 7am, the RM80 registration fee includes a t-shirt and refreshments. The walk will take place from 7am to 9am, starting at the Lower Lobby, Grand Johor.
Participants will also have access to free clinical breast examinations aboard the MURNI Mobile Clinic, available from 7am to 1pm. A Pink Bazaar will also offer a range of merchandise and services for guests to explore. For more information or to register, click here.
