There’s no denying that we Malaysians love Italian food. It’s evident from the plethora of outstanding Italian restaurants we have countrywide. There is an impressive range of options, from family-friendly and casual to swanky and romantic.

Aposto, the newest modern Italian restaurant in Taman Tun Dr Ismail, is one to add to the list. It is slated to open on 1 April 2022, delivering a unique dining experience that combines classic recipes with cutting-edge culinary techniques.

The restaurant is built for communal eating, where visitors can connect over a fantastic meal, just like Italians do. At Aposto, classic Italian dishes are given a contemporary twist by Chef Patron Chu Wei Sin, who received his culinary education across three continents.

Aposto has staged three successful pop-up events to preview its cuisine in the lead up to its launch, all of which received rave reviews. Each dish, especially the exquisite plates of pasta, is handcrafted from the ground up with fresh, premium, and carefully picked imported ingredients.

  • Lobster Spring Risotto: Boston lobster, edamame, and bisque foam.

Aposto also serves a variety of exquisite wines from across the world, beer on tap, and creative mocktails, to complement the food menu. As guests watch the chefs make their meals with care, the open kitchen idea will provide entertainment, and a good conversation starter.
