Book lovers rejoice! #TeamZafigo is excited to announce our latest initiative – Busy Reading Books – a new book podcast (or ‘bookcast’, as we like to call it) hosted by Zafigo founder Marina Mahathir. Here, Marina talks about the books she loves, and explores the world through words. Starting this 17 March, each episode will release weekly and revolve around a specific theme.
“There are so many books that give me joy, which makes it hard to get rid of them. So I thought one way of doing something with these books is really to talk about them”, says Marina on how she came up with the idea for the bookcast. She goes on to explain that unlike other bookcasts or book clubs, where one book is discussed at a time, each episode of Busy Reading Books will touch on several titles or authors. “I thought it would be interesting to do a podcast that was more thematic”.
Whether you want insights from authors, have an interest in the lives of historical figures, or want to learn about Burmese cooking, join us as we flip through books based on the many genres and themes – proving that there truly is a book for everyone!
