Walking into EM’s in Bangsar feels like stumbling into your cool friend’s kitchen experiment gone incredibly right. This small-batch bakery has mastered the perfect balance between a crisp exterior and that melt-in-your-mouth centre.
Their signature New York-style cookies come in flavours that range from classics like Milk Chocolate Sea Salt to more adventurous options like Pistachio Bueno. When a cookie shop names itself “Chonky”, it better deliver on size, and this Exchange TRX hotspot does. These massive cookies require two hands and zero shame. Their Blueberry Crumble Cookies – stuffed with blueberry goodness – are basically dessert goals materialised. Chunky stands out because of its perfect timing; if you’re lucky enough to visit when a fresh batch emerges from the oven, you’re in for a core memory moment. This one is personal, and by personal, we mean personal favourite. What started as a small and humble mini-store selling warm and comforting cookies has now expanded to three stores across the Klang Valley, making it easier for cookie lovers to get their hands on some seriously good artisanal cookies. Their cookies tend toward a more delicate texture than the chunky styles dominating the scene, making them much more addictive. While we love classic flavours like The OG (Dark Chocolate Chip) and Milk Chocolate, we can’t get enough of their Pistachio Kunafa.

Yes, it’s a UK import, but Ben’s Cookies has definitely earned its spot in the local cookie scene. The consistent quality makes this international chain a reliable choice when cookie cravings strike mid-shopping spree. Their Crunchy Triple Chocolate cookie is perfection – no bells and whistles, just quality ingredients executed flawlessly.
