Grab your sneakers and get ready to be amazed because lululemon is taking its Run collection to the next level, and they’re doing it in style! Picture this: 10 amazing athletes, over 4,636 kilometres, each smashing their personal bests at the epic FURTHER Women’s Ultramarathon.
lululemon unveiled the multi-year worldwide FURTHER campaign in May 2023, which aims to promote human possibility and the boundless potential of women. This year, International Women’s Day (6 March 2024) marked the start of the six-day ultramarathon, which concluded in Lake Cahuilla in La Quinta, California, on 12 March 2024.
Ten female athletes from its worldwide ambassador collective were showcased, including South Korean ultra-runner Yoon Young Kang and Hong Kong-based Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu athlete and entrepreneur Vriko Kwok.
Every athlete wore an outfit designed just for them by lululemon, which was co-created with them. The 36 new developments are supported by research and influenced by athlete thoughts; they are regarded as situational and always-on functions.
Redefining running
In the wake of the FURTHER Ultramarathon, lululemon’s Run line has also lately grown to include new items and hues appropriate for a range of sweat-inducing daily activities. The new gear has seamless fabrics, lightweight construction, and streamlined designs to help you run farther. With the main new products, styles, and hues, everyone would feel their best to push past their limitations.
Find a FURTHER event in Malaysia
Lululemon is excited to invite runners of all skill levels to discover FURTHER at their Run event in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, in April 2024. Beyond covering the ground, this one-of-a-kind experience promotes community building and personal development through exercises, pickleball, running, nutrition seminars, and refreshments.
The entire earnings will be given to Buku Jalanan Chow Kit, which helps impoverished children grow up in a healthy environment and with education. For those interested, early bird registration is now available from 19 March to 25 March 2024, at a low rate of RM70 for each session. Regular registration will start on 30 March 2024.
