Located near the beach, on the first floor of a nondescript building, this family-owned Indonesian restaurant is yet another favourite with good vibes and genuinely great food (we died for the mahi-mahi sambal bawang). You’ll often find someone strumming on the guitar, but what makes it truly stand out for us is the family’s kindness and warmth.

15-minutes’ drive from the main Kuta strip, is a luxe nature hideaway with a dreamy restaurant called Somewhere Resort. If you’re looking for a spot with heavenly views to wine and dine, then this is it. Overlooking Areguling beach, everything about Somewhere is ‘gram-worthy—and their dishes are simply to die for.

With an in-house bakery, sourdough pizzas, wood-fired everything, excellent coffee and cocktails, magazine-worthy interiors, and a swimming pool, what’s not to love about Bara? To be honest, it’s a great spot for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, but we’d highly suggest dropping by for one of their buzzing promo nights for good vibes, curated playlists, and delicious food.
