1. Sugar and I, SS14
Is your sweet tooth itching for pastries loaded with creamy filling? Sugar and I’s Bombolonis are packed to the brim with delightfully sweet fillings that are sure to satisfy that itch you have. My personal favourite is the Pistachio Bomboloni. Give their Japanese cream puffs a try too! We promise it’ll be worth it.

2. YODmilk, USJ 10, Taipan
For an affordable after-meal treat, YODmilk has got your back. You can choose from four different types of bagels and then pick a sweet (or savoury) filling! They’re generous with the filling and cream cheese, so you’ll definitely be getting your money’s worth. Grab some ice cream too, while you’re at it.

3. A Scoop of, PARC
Our local Subang Jaya foodie claims this place has the best gelato she’s ever eaten! The gelato texture is very smooth and doesn’t have any icy bits. Her favourite flavour? The Watermelon Limeade. The best part is that this gelato spot is located inside PARC, so you can enjoy the outdoors and quell the heat with a cold treat!

4. Fatbaby Ice Cream, SS15
Fatbaby Ice Cream is my absolute favourite ice cream spot ever. Period. Their full-fat ice creams are creamy and have a balanced denseness, making indulging in their icy treats a delight. Plus, it smells like heaven when you walk into the store. They also sell ice cream pints you can buy and enjoy in the comforts of your home! Their best ice cream flavour is the Crunchy Salted Caramel—salty, sweet, a little crunchy, and melts in your mouth.

5. Huang Soy Bar, SS17
Our lactose-intolerant friends, don’t worry, we haven’t forgotten you. Huang Soy Bar is here to the rescue with soy milk desserts! Apart from fresh soy milk, they’ve got Tau Fu Fa (soybean pudding) and shaved ice as well. Choose different toppings to pair with your dessert of choice, then pick from three sweeteners: Gula Melaka syrup, white sugar syrup, and ginger sugar syrup.

6. TBX The Baking Xperiment, SS17
Can’t get enough of baked goods? Always experimenting, TBX comes up with new products once in a while, like their well-known Cromboloni, a cross between croissants and bombolonis. The pastries here are good but be prepared for a bit of a crowd because of that. Their croissants are fluffy inside and crunchy outside, just how I like it.
