The Square by Jaya One will host Ladies Skate Night in collaboration with The Blade School starting May 2022. It will take place at Level 1, The Square by Jaya One, on the third and fourth (and fifth, if any) Thursdays of the month.
This is a collaborative endeavour between Myskate, The Blade School, and The Square by Jaya One to get more women on skates and establish a stronger community.
You won’t want to miss out on this one-of-a-kind skating experience as there will be free skating lessons for beginners during the Ladies Skate Night. It covers skills like:
- Safety briefing
- How to get up and get down
- How to break a fall
- V-steps to Glide
- Heel Stop
Ladies Skate Night is completely FREE for the ladies. Men interested in joining will be charged RM40.
Each participant will be charged RM10 for skate rental, protective gear, and a helmet for each session. To encourage everyone to skate more, participants who purchase a set of protective gear for RM55 will receive 6 FREE permits to rent skates and helmets during Ladies Skate Night.
