Grand Hyatt Kuala Lumpur is turning up the heat this May with the highly anticipated return of its signature dining series, Dine with Chef 2025. Back for a second year, this month-long culinary showcase carries the theme Newstalgia: Memories Reinvented—a daring tribute to the tastes that defined us, now reimagined through cutting-edge gastronomy. Throughout May, the hotel will host an impressive rotation of acclaimed local and international chefs, each bringing their flair to a series of exclusive dining experiences. Here’s what to expect:
1–4 May | The Spirit of Poland – THIRTY8, Grand Hyatt Kuala Lumpur
Kick off the series with a celebration of Polish cuisine featuring Chef Marcin Budynek, Chef Mariusz Olechno, and award-winning pastry chef Paweł Mieszała. Enjoy à la carte dinners showcasing bold Polish flavours and indulge in a special St. Martin’s Afternoon Tea on 3–4 May (MYR 158 nett), highlighting the iconic St. Martin’s Croissant in honour of Poland’s Constitution Day.
11 May | Mother’s Day Brunch – THIRTY8 & IL Forno
Celebrate Mother’s Day with two special brunches. At THIRTY8, Chef Greg (Grand Hyatt KL) teams up with Chef Stig and Chef Holger (Park Hyatt KL) for a refined brunch experience from MYR 248 nett, featuring a bespoke gin & tonic trolley and cocktails like “The Matriarch” (MYR 48+).
