The art scene is bouncing back bigger and better! As part of a collaborative effort to re-energise the vibrancy of Malaysia’s local art scene and deliver inclusive art experiences to Malaysians, a new art fair will be debuting at the creative community mall — GMBB in Bukit Bintang, Kuala Lumpur on from 8 to 10 April 2022.

In partnership with the 20 top art galleries in Malaysia, Art Expo Malaysia is organising the Art for All: Art Gala. Over 500 artworks by 100 local and foreign artists are featured in the large-scale collaboration. The retail rooms on level 3A will be imaginatively turned into an engaging art venue for visitors to experience art beyond the confines of a traditional art fair.

The National Art Gallery, Henry Butcher Art Auctioneers, and independent art galleries such as A2 Gallery, AATO Room, Art Case Galleries, Art Weme Contemporary Gallery, Artemis Art, ATR Gallery, Chetak 17 + A.P Art Gallery, Core Design Gallery, G13 Gallery, Gallery Des Artistes, HOM Art Trans, La Galerie du Monde, Minut Init, Nadine Fine Art, NN Gallery, RAG Studio, Rissim Contemporary, Suma Orientalis, The Back Room, V’Art Space, Wei-Ling Gallery, and Zhan Art | Space, are some of the exhibitors of Art for All: Art Gala by Art Expo Malaysia.

Other highlights include a gallery featuring contemporary ink artist C.N. Liew’s work and Aureo Gallery’s Gold Art Showcase, a community-based NFT project – Sleepless Workshop and a collection of art exhibited by Dita Colour.

The fair is free and open to the public. All you need to do is fill out the form here.
