
Many first-time travellers to Malaysia may only be familiar with Kuala Lumpur and Penang, but there’s so much more to Malaysia than tall buildings and food.
Four years ago, Malaysian photographer FwuKai Quah (Battered Photographer), set out on a quest across all thirteen states to capture the breathtaking scenery and landscapes of Malaysia. After his four-year journey, he compiled his footage to create one awe-inspiring time-lapse video titled ‘Tanahair Ku‘ (My Motherland). The purpose of the video is not just to show his love for the country he was born in, but also to educate others on Malaysia’s diverse beauty.

FwuKai Quah is a Penang-born aspiring Malaysian photographer, focusing on nature landscape and time-lapse photography. His career started off a hobby that developed when he live in California.
