October is Breast Cancer Awareness month and this time GrabCar will be painting Kuala Lumpur pink along with five other cities in Southeast Asia – Manila, Bangkok, Hanoi, Jakarta and Singapore. The #GrabitBeatit campaign, GrabCar’s first regional campaign, is aimed at promoting breast health awareness and educating women on the importance of self-examination. You can help spread the word out by using the hashtag #GrabitBeatit on social media!

As part of this campaign, GrabCar has also teamed up with homegrown fashion brand Pestle & Mortar to produce limited edition t-shirts with the cheeky tagline “Love Boobs? So does cancer”. The t-shirts will be sold at RM30 each and all proceeds go to the Breast Cancer Welfare Association (BCWA) in Malaysia.

If you are in KL from 5th to 11th October, be sure to purchase a t-shirt via the MyTeksi app by following these steps:

1. Download the MyTeksi app on iOS, Android or Blackberry
2. Launch your app and register your credit/debit card
3. Key in your delivery address in the pick up and drop off fields
4. Select the #GrabitBeatit icon
5. Note your size in the “Notes to driver field” and tap “Book Now!”

*Only available in the Klang Valley while stocks last

If you miss out on the app promo, fret not because the t-shirts will still be available for the rest of the month on ZALORA and in Pestle & Mortar stores. The Pestle & Mortar store in Bangsar is definitely worth a visit!
