A cheaper, safer ride that benefits women in need? That’s what the Move Freely Campaign aims to deliver in this collaboration between MyTeksi and the Women’s Aid Organisation (WAO), with Zafigo being the official partner.

Speaking at the launch, Zafigo founder and social activist Datin Paduka Marina Mahathir spoke of the unique concerns that women face when travelling. “One day we hope that all women can move freely, but until then, we are here to help make travel for women a little more pleasant,” said Marina.

To get on board with the campaign is simple: use the WAO promo code when hailing a taxi with the MyTeksi app and not only will you get RM2 off your ride, MyTeksi will also donate RM1 to WAO.

The prtravel_safeomo code can be used for unlimited times per registered account and if your ride cost less than RM2, then your ride is essentially free. However, please note the driver will not refund you the difference.

All you need to do is download the MyTeksi app from either the Apple App StoreGoogle Play Store, or BlackBerry World.

The campaign is running from 11 March – 11 April 2015 and is applicable in the following areas: Klang Valley, Putrajaya and Cyberjaya, Johor Bahru, Penang, Malacca, Kuching and Kota Kinabalu.
