‘Ladies in the House’ launched by Miss Universe Malaysia 2015 Ladies-only floor at Qliq Damansara

Introducing the stylish ladies’ guestrooms at the Ladies-only floor, offering female guests the qliq-essential pampering, security and privacy that every woman deserves

Petaling Jaya – Female guests who wish to stay in a hotel either for business or pleasure but don’t want to worry about security and privacy, Qliq Damansara has an alternative: Ladies-only floor.

In an effort to help female travellers feel comfortable and secure, Qliq Damansara has thoughtfully set aside a Ladies-only floor — the first and one-of-a-kind in Petaling Jaya. Welcoming ladies with a full range of female amenities, the rooms at Ladies-only floor are designed with a feminine touch and are managed and manned by experienced female talents and female housekeeping team.

With the hotel just opened in March this year, we saw a need, given that our female guests now make up over 40% and we want to be the first hotel in Petaling Jaya to provide a dedicated ladies’ floor. There is an increased demand for security, comfort and value from women travelling for business and pleasure,” says Tony Lim, General Manager of Qliq Damansara.

The Ladies-only floor comprises 9 Qute rooms and 4 Quest rooms. Qute room category offers 7 king- and 2 twin-rooms of 26 m2, which has a gorgeous satellite city view. As for Quest room category, there are 4 rooms comprising 3 king- and 1 twin-rooms of 35 m2, which overlook a splendid forest hill and eccentric architecture. The floor and rooms are only accessible by the guests’ exclusive key card, which allows them to enjoy the stay with a sense of security.

The Ladies-only floor is designed for the modern woman who knows what she wants, with thoughtful details creating a feeling of well-being and comfort,” added Tony.

All rooms are furnished with duvet-style linen giving crisp and clean feeling and come with special amenities including exercise ball, yoga mat, powerful hair dryer, essential bathroom amenities, fresh flowers, and ladies magazines. Also, the rooms are designed with a feminine touch and are non-smoking, not to mention the carpark has 24-hour supervision.

Moreover, female guests staying at the Ladies-only floor are entitled to Club benefits, which include exclusive access to Q lounge, complimentary all-day refreshments and finger food, as well as sundowner and pre-dinner snack from 6-8pm.

Tony explained that, “We are particularly trying to appeal to female business travellers, who are moving up the career ladder and hitting the road more often. Research done by Cornell University School of Hotel Administration has identified that safety, empowerment and pampering influence women business travellers in deciding their choice of accommodation. In that respect, we had the opportunity in April to host the 17 beauty pageant finalists for Miss Universe Malaysia 2015 for a-week stay at the hotel. These ladies represent the target market segment that we are looking for and the recently crowned Miss Universe Malaysia 2015, Vanessa Tevi is now our ideal ambassador to resonate the image of our Ladies-only floor.

In an effort to raise awareness about the hotel’s Ladies-only floor, Qliq Damansara is running a contest from 25th August 2015 to 11th September 2015 on its Facebook page. The participants only need to answer one question to stand a chance of winning one free room night for 2 persons. On the other hand, the promotion called “Ladies in the House” offers a knockdown rate of RM 318.00 ++ for single or double room at Ladies-only floor.

In collaboration  with Qliq Hotels, Zafigo is offering, exclusively to our readers, an additional 10% off the “Ladies in the House” promotion at Qliq Damansara. For more information on this offer, click here.
