Ashtanga Yoga Center of Bangkok

The Ashtanga Yoga Center focuses on its namesake, an ancient system of yoga that incorporates vinyasa (which focuses on aligning breath with movement) and tristhana (which focuses on meditation and spirituality). They also offer a special Mysore-style yoga, in which classes are not led but instructions are given one-on-one within a group class setting. Students practise their own portion of the Ashtanga sequence of asanas at their own pace while the teacher is present to adjust positions and provide verbal reinforcement. The studio offers all levels of instructions but the Mysore class is more suitable for experienced yogis.
